Richmond Rowett House
Whitehorse, Yukon
2020
3850sqft

The project is an infill triplex in downtown Whitehorse located on a corner lot against the clay cliffs of the Yukon River valley. The design provides many outdoor spaces to allow for a diversity of experiences (privacy, light, views). These spaces are articulated as subtractions from the overall mass. A double cantilever projects from the corner to create shelter for the main floor as well as a dramatic urban gesture.
